Sound and Beach Access

The Sound is just outside our door and 1-2 minutes down the nature trail next to our home. Public ocean access is a quick tram ride or 10-15 minute walk. There’s also free parking available if you’d rather drive.

Corolla Light Resort

Our home is located in Corolla Light Resort, which offers an unrivaled selection of resort features, such as community pools, tennis, pickleball, an indoor sports center and an indoor pool. In addition to incredible amenities, the resort also offers a large selection of summer activities, such as fitness classes and fun for your family, such as surf clinics, trivia contests and arts and crafts time.

You’ll be among our first guests in this newly renovated home, which is so fresh and clean! You’ll love our serene, light-drenched aesthetic, with high-end décor and finishes. The renovations include updated furniture, new flooring and brand new mattresses and bedding. We asked ourselves, “Does this make us feel relaxed? Is this comfortable?” for every decorating decision, and our guests benefit from the restful details we thoughtfully curated.

The reverse floorplan highlights relaxing Sound views from the top-floor living space and multiple decks. And with 2 primary king bedrooms, including a private top-level primary suite, and thoughtfully arranged mid-level bedrooms for everyone else, it’s an ideal layout for multigenerational getaways.

Our top floor offers an open floor plan to maximize light-filled views from every angle. It also has high ceilings and living and dining areas full of coastal charm, including an electric fireplace. One of the two king-bed primary bedrooms and baths is also on this floor.

The mid-level is designed with families and comfort in mind. This floor features 4 bedrooms—perfect for parents, kids, or extended family—sharing two full bathrooms. All rooms can access the deck. Our full bunkbed room boasts an emphasis on fun, with an old-school Atari gaming system and lots of family games and reading material for all ages. Bonus: All your bed linens and bath towels are included so you can pack light!

Check-In/Check-Out/Policies

Please note the following processes to ensure your booking is confirmed and your stay is awesome:

Check-in time is 4PM; check-out is 10AM. Due to turnover/cleaning during peak summer season early check-in and late check-out are generally not available. Minimum stay and check-in/check-out days vary per season. Please see our rates and availability pages for detailed information.

You'll receive a smartlock check-in code for the door 24-72 hours before your stay for self-check-in. Detailed check-in instructions and guest tips will be provided prior to your arrival.

11 wristbands provided for Corolla Light amenities. Wristbands can be picked up on arrival from the Sports Center at Corolla Light.

We supply a rental agreement, which must be signed by all guests upon booking. Guests must sign the rental agreement within 48 hours of booking or risk cancellation.

The following violations may be subject to additional fees: 

• Unregistered pets, including those over 50 pounds
• Late departure without approval by the host
• House left excessively messy

We kindly ask that you leave the home in a similar condition to how you found it. Additional cleaning fees may be charged if the property is left excessively messy.

Trolley service is available from Memorial Day through late August. Review the Corolla Light website for details on all activities.

Internet/High-speed Wi-Fi is an amenity provided at the property, but we cannot guarantee functionality for issues beyond our control. Potential Wi-Fi outages will always be handled promptly and resolved to the best of our ability. Unfortunately, sometimes the Internet provider can’t resolve issues immediately. For this reason, our solutions are not guaranteed, and refunds will not be given for Internet/Wi-Fi malfunctions.

PLEASE NOTE: Per HOA guidelines and local laws, the guests making the reservation must be at least 25 years old and be present during the entire duration of the stay. For non-family groups, all guests must be over the age of 25. If this rule or the home occupancy limit is breached, guests may be subject to fines or eviction.
